Ellis ADU

The clients wanted to add an ADU to their property to assist with their mother as she got older. Portland building code for ADU dictates the ADU must be in the same style as the existing home, a two story craftsman, but no larger than 800sf. We created a large living/kitchen area with lots of light and vaulted ceilings to contrast a more intimate entry and dining area adjacent. The bedroom and bathroom are distinct spaces with all ADA compliant fixtures and roll in shower.
