The Hideout - under construction

A new single family residence with detached guest house, placed to create a courtyard with views of the White Mountains and the Volcanic Tablelands. The client had two main goals; one, to have many indoor/outdoor spaces for reading, hanging hammocks, and enjoying the outdoors; two, to have an entirely fire hardened exterior with low maintenance.

A detached guest house was included for aided living if necessary as the clients age. The garage is on the back of the house to hide the door view as well as to aid in protecting the courtyard from the NW prevailing winds.
